I think your best bet is to purchase the WTX extension within MB and the associated tree types (edit based on Mercator's corrections)... good luck!

you should use something like tcpmon to see what is being sent from the broker and compare that to what's being sent from XMLSpy....

there's a header in the MQMD for put date/time... you can then calculate the current time compared to the put date/time and you can see how long it took before the message got to that compute node...

you should look at creating a cluster with your two qmgrs and your partners qmgrs...

that way they'll automatically switch when one of your qmgrs goes down - the other option is just have one gate ...
