Yes, I think you perhaps misread the problem. I needed to PREVENT messages from appearing under syncpoint.

1. Application Architecture.
Which is it more appropriate to have on AIX?
a) an MQ Queue Manager or
b) the MQ client?

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try and post the results.

It was reported to me that the message remained after the program was terminated and until the QM was bounced. Not sure ...
