Ok , yes SSL and next to this VPN is a bit weird and overdone.
The reason is simple, this is a mutual agreement for both comapanies.
Company A wants only things to the outside world by using VPN.

An WBI FP is as far as i know a full install of WBI.
But without the license file.
The license file (2 or 3) are on the original CD. |

You should use the SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN (server connect) channel for this. You only need the MQ server software local, on de MO71 machine,
because of the API. As far as i understand.

Just connect the remote qmgr.
In most cases it´s 1414, but you need to know it indeed.
Call the remote site/people. Or try by telnet to the most likely port.

This will do the trick yes.
I prefer a reboot in most cases.
And I don´t want to recreate brokers or configmanagers all the time.
But this way will work, I think. |

If you do not know which keys to modify, then I advise not to do it.
Since it is so obvious which keys to delete/modify.

I run WBI5 and MQSI21 both on the same XP install (laptop).
And yes you need to hack the registry a bit.
And if you swap from WBI5 to MQSI2.1 you need
to modify the registry and reboot.
