I can't get the 'configure MySQL' link to work... it stops at 37%

For HP UX you could try "netstat -an |grep port# |grep ESTABLISHED" or just a simple dis chs(*) |

Thanks, that's the recommendation i will make. My original purpose was to implement a 'failover' solution, but in reading hte posts - clustering alone will not accomplish this.

I have noticed in my task manager (Win2000, MQ v5.3) that there are 7 or 8 instances of amqxssvn.exe running. I have only 2 queue managers running (more defined, but only 2 running) on that machine.
