We converted all of our queue managers to 037 from 500 a couple years ago, due to special character support, ie. british pound sign, cent sign, etc. There were no issues for any of our applications.

You definitely want to get IBM/CANDLE's help in installing this product. It uses its own installation facility called CICAT, and it is not very intuitive.

We have seen this issue with non-committed messages. The trigger takes place before the message is committed and available. We set our Trigint to 120000 to redrive the trigger to get around this.
