Hi MQ friends,
the following code works fine for CHARACTER columns of external Database -
but for CLOB columns it just returns null.
(I proved it by DB2 commands: there are CLOB data !)

any idea ...

Ok guys,
the reason is:
it has to have real ESQL syntax including the assignment
(hard for a pure Java programmer...)

throws Exception:
