Wow...that is an unusual description of MQ...
I like to think of MQ like a cross between DB and an smtp MTA.
Or a transactional MTA.

That's because as of MQ v7.1, there is a dmpmqcfg command instead.
Just use that. It will know about the new features.

In terms of readline support for runmqsc, I'm not sure what more than cat myMQSC.txt |runmqsc qmgr (and other shell variants) is needed?
