Hi,
We are going to execute scripts in Solaris environment, which will create Queues managers, queues, channels, listeners etc. The MQ installation will be done by production services group. Can anyone of you please let me know what all Privileges (administartor, part of MQM groupetc etc) we require in Solaris environment order to execute the scripts and also excute the command like setmqauth, dspmqauth, amqsput etc.

can you run this scripts as mqm user???
or use a root wrapper ? |

| Hi thanks..I want to know all the previleges are there for MQM group or not. Or we need to create a user which should belong to MQM group and we will log on as that user and execute the scripts and MQSC commands. |

Any user in the MQM group should be able to execute such scripts.

Well if the user belongs to the mqm group that is all you need. It will be very diffcult to get a user that is not in the mqm group permissions to use the runmqsc commands.
