All,
We are very new to Java development on our iSeries. So new that we had a 3'rd party person develop a Java adapter for us in the IFS. We have a triggering program written in RPGILE that determines what should happen. In this case we call a CL program that sets up the class path and then calls the Java program. The java adapter will then get the message off of the queue and then pass the data as parameters back to an ILE program that writes it to a native file. When we turn off triggering and have a message put on the queue and then call the 1'st program interactivally or in batch with one of our programmer id's the whole thing works. We know this because we added a time field on the record that is being written to. When we turn triggering back on and have a message put back on a queue and it is triggered with the user QMQM, we were told it has to be this, it doesnt work. The data is taken off the queue but it does not write to the file. The logs say that the shell script ended normally and does not show any errors. We cant find any errors but the data is not in the file and it is definalally off the queue. Can this be an authority issue with QMQM? We had IBM tell us what it should have and gave it to that user. Any suggestions are appreciated!!!! We cant figure this one out!!!
Thanks in advance.
