Here is my question : I have a client that requests a channel exit. I never
defined a channel with a channel exit. We are running 5.2 os/390 and the channel exit program provided from our client is in C. How would I define it in the channel or for the channel to call the exit. Any help would be appreciated. _________________ THANKS

Take a look at the Intercommunication manual. There is a chapter on Writing and Compiling exits, which includes z/OS. There are some restrictions on what you can do in C on this platform.
There are other Chapters that also cover what you can do in the exits and how to 'install' them.
