hi,
i have a QM on a unix box and a java client on another.
the java application is running fine.but error messages are logged in the server saying that TCP/IP connection to the client machine is broken,where as the application continues to run uninterupted.Any ideas?

Possibility is that you had a failure on an MQI call that resulted in CONNECTION_BROKEN. But then, your java app might have tried a conn again to get a new connection and hence you dont see any issues with java app.
The other possibility is that your java app does NOT cal any MQI calls after you see a connection broken.
Another pointer is that this is an old message. Check to see and verify the timestamp that it occurs at the same time when you run your app.
Also check to see if your svrconn channel is running

Another possibility is that your java program ends without disconnecting from the queue manager. |
