Hi,
Has anyone got any advice, firstly on the reliability of the MQ FTP Client supportpac (MA0P)? And, secondly on the use of this - can I use MQ triggering to initiate an mqftp command to send every message that arrives on a queue, or even a group of them. Does the use of mqftp have to be interactive or can it be used in batch like this? I might also want to schedule its use in crontab to search a remote server for incoming files on at periodic intervals.
Apologies for the basic questions. I am in the process of RTFMing but I have a quick proof of concept to do, and any feedback will help. Thanks.
To answer my own questions, it is easy to do what I want. The only remaining question is how reliable it is. Does anyone have experience of using mqftp in a production environment?
