I installed trial version of MQ 5.3 for Linux on RedHat ES 2.1 (Enterprise Server). I followed the installation manual faithfully:
- run mqlicense.sh
- run rpm to install Server, SDK, Runtime.
After I try to execute (being logged in as mqm) "crtmqm XYZ" I get the following:
AMQ7153. A license could not be installed...
IBM books elaborate on this error code by saying that one must make sure that a file qmgrs/@SYSTEM/nodelock has right permissions.
I checked the aforementioned file. It is owned by mqm; the attributes are: -rwxrwxrwx.
I have no idea what am I doing wrong. Please, help!
