Hi all,
Just have a quick question regarding the uninstall of MQ on Solaris.
From the mq.install log, I noticed that the postinstall script execution caused a seg fault before core dumping.
The Quick Beginnings state that to uninstall MQ, pkgrm would be sufficient along with the removal of any files or directories on /opt/mqm.
Would I need to unmount the /var/mqm filesystem before proceeding with the re-install of MQ?
I have experienced a problem on AIX where if the /var/mqm filesystem is not unmounted or removed prior to the re-install, MQ will be installed but there will be problems trying to create qmgrs, etc.
Anyone experienced similar problems on Solaris? |

I havent done this in a while. But as far as i recollect i did not have to do anything on Solaris except running pkgrm.
Not sure how much this helps, but...
Cheers
