I know MQ 5.2 does not work with terminal service.
Do you think MQ 5.3 works with win 2k terminal service...

Under a Terminal Services login, you can do anything with a queue manager that you can otherwise do remotely.
This includes using the MQSeries Explorer and Services plug-in.
This isn't any different between different versions of MQSeries or Terminal Services, that I'm aware of. |

Are you sure? I know MQ 5.2 won't work with win 2k server terminal service (it is messy up MQ on the win server side).
So I think for MQ 5.3, there may be a change...

Terminal services will work with MQ 5.2 if you access your QM as a remote QM. but this is not supported by IBM. We recently had a problem with MQ and IBM would not support it because we were using Terminal Services. Had to reinstall MQ. If you think IBM support is not a big issue then yuo can use terminal services.
Terminal Services is supported from MQ 5.3.

I found a win 2k server machine to work with, loaded the MQ 5.3.0.3 with terminal service from another machine, created a mq mfr, then create 2 qs, then put and get msgs.. All was accomplisted through termical service.
