I am trying to import a message set (PostcardMS.mrp) but it's complaining that this already exists.
This is how I am trying to do that.
mqsiimpexpmsgset -i -n MQSIMRB -u mqsiuid -f PostcardMS.mrp
This is a stand alone and new installation. I am trying to do the "Verifying your installation" steps and see how the samples work.
How do I delete the old message set. The reason I am trying to delete the old message is because in the control center
if I do
Message Sets -> Add to Workspace -> Message Set
as per the installation guide it should show me the post card sample message set (PostcardMS). But I can't see that message. So, I want to reimport the message set and see if that makes any difference.
Thanks

Please restart your config mgr once and see if the message set still shows up when you select Add to Workspace. _________________ Kiran

I did that and I still can't see the message set.
I even rebooted the machine. No luck.
I think I will drop all the databases and start afresh.
But I thought deleting the message set would be something very simple

There may be some authorizations problems with your ID. Are you sure you are using the correct user-id, which belongs to MQ* groups? _________________ Kiran

Kiran:
That could very well be a possibility.
I am using mqsiuid as the user-id. But mqsiuid is only in the the groups mqm and mqbrkrs.
Now I have added mqsiuid to all the groups. Unfortunately I deleted all the mqsi components and databases.
Thanks
