Hi,

I have WMQI message flows that process the messages from an input queue, but once in a while the messages would just sit in the queue (the config mngr and broker are running). I don't think it's an WMQI problem because the MQSeries log has the error listed below. How can I use MQSeries service to determine the problem? Thanks.

AMQ7880: Error code 20 starting QM_hawk2.opm.gov/Command Server MQSeries
service.

EXPLANATION:
The MQSeries service was unable to start QM_hawk2.opm.gov/Command Server. The
error message reported was as follows: Process could not be started - return
code 20
ACTION:
Use MQSeries Services to investigate why the service could not begin. If
recovery for this service is active, MQSeries will attempt to recover.

There is no connection between MQ Command Server and your WMQI problem.
Your situation can occur when :
1. You stopped message flow or it's execution group.
2. InputQ for this message flow is inhibited.
3. All instances of the message flow are busy taking care for previous messages.
( maybe it does a lot or maybe you have endless loop inside ).
