Is there any other way to varify that triggering is working on NT.
The trigger monitor (has a init queue) is running (verified from MQ services).
Queue definition has trigger on, trigger type first and with a specific init queue.

Problem:
When the message put to the queue, nothing happen.

Thanks.

Stop the trigger monitor from services and start it on a command line.

runmqtrm -m QMGR -q INITQ

When a message arrives on INITQ output will be displayed in the window.
This way you can debug.

Just another thought ......You may want to check that the queue isn't open for input by anything. Trigger type of first won't trigger if the queue is open for input.

Hope this helps

Third, is the queue depth > 1, if so you will not get a new trigger until the triggerinterval(TRIGINT) has elapsed. By default it don't. My personal oppinion is adjust it to something reasonable e.g. 60 seconds.

Is the init queue opened for input ?

You can flip the trigger off and the on again to fire a trigger if queue depth > 0.

Just my $0.02
