Hi,

We are using MQ 5.2 on solaris.

We wil be using it as the transaction manager with Oracle 9i.
Can anybody let me know what the following line in ora8swit.mak file does

ORALIBS=-l clntsh -l m

When I modify this line to
ORALIBS=-lclntsh -lm
it works....

Whatz this clntsh.......

After creating the switch file when I run my Java program
it return with error code 2372 at the point where qmgr.begin is executed.

Following is the setting in the qm.ini file

XAResourceManager:
Name=Oracle zbkqajis
SwitchFile=/var/mqm/ZBankXa/ora8swit
XAOpenString=Oracle_XA+Acc=P/zbank/zbank+SesTm=35+LogDir=/tmp/test/oraxa.log

The Oracle_SID and Oracle_HOME envt variables are set and
the user is granted select on the DBA_PENDING_TRANSACTIONS table in Oracle.

Do I need to do anything else.Oracle and MQ are running on the same machne.

Rgds
Akshay
