Does anyone have any experience using this utility? I am running it according to the system admin guide and it runs for an extremely long time. My active log size is 13500 tracks and it is taking over 3-4 hours to dump one archive log.

Any assistance would be helpful
Jason

Are you using an RBA range, or if you have 5.3) an LRSN range, to reduce the amount of data to a more manageable size.

No, but I did try to isolate it to a pageset. I did leave off some important information becuase I though it was the CSQ1LOQP program. I have applied the MO12 support pac and I am now thinking that is the problem. It looks like a loop in the module ( CCP1LRPL ) that the support pac was applied too. I have dedected this from running a STROBE report. I see that you are from Hursley. I just sent an email to Colin Paice explaining the problem. When I run this with a small (active logs are 100 cylinders) archive log it works fine...still runs a little long but it does not loop. When I use my production archive logs which are large (active logs are 900 cylinders) it starts to loop after about an 1 1/2 hours of running.
