Hi Peeps,

I am confused in the terminology in the manual regarding
MQ ARHIVE LOG.

In Manual above performs the following:
1. Truncates the current active log datasets.
2. Continues logging, switch to next active log
3. Start task to offload the data sets.
4. Archives previous log data sets not yet archived.

for above item 3, off load from and to?


in actual, which comes first offload or archive?

archive the active logs and then offload the same?

Please, when you refer to “the manual,” please cite its name and publication ID or the URL.

From your active log datasets to archive log datasets. The names of the archive log datasets are defined in your CSQ6ARVP.
