I recently upgraded to CSD4, I was able to start my broker fine but when I tried to stop it I got a core dump. Now the same thing happens when I try and start my broker:

sweepee$ mqsistart STEVEN_BROKER
MQSeries queue manager running.
/opt/wmqi/bin/mqsistart[27]: 9768 Abort(coredump)

The /var/adm/messages log contains the following errors:

Feb 25 16:23:42 localhost WMQIv210[9667]: [ID 000000 user.error] (STEVEN_BROKER.mqsistart)[1]BIP2228E: Severe error: /build/S210_P/src/CommonServices/Unix/ImbAbend.cpp 417 signal received Abend file: /var/mqsi/errors/STEVEN_BROKER.mqsistart.9667.1.abend action: abort

I have no idea what to do next. Don't know if this is related to CSD4 or not. I am using V2.1 on Solaris 8, MQ 5.2 (no CSD).

Anyone ever seen this or got any suggestions?

Have you checked the Solaris Kernel configuration parameters - the recommended minimum values for WMQI (and DB2 if you are using it ?) are listed in Chapter 2 of the Sun Solaris Installation Guide.
