Hi All,
I am new to IIB Administration and doing my R&D on my personal laptop.
I was trying to create a Integration node which will be run as MQ Service.
IIB Version : 10.0.0.5 & MQ Version : 8.0.0.5
I was exploring the mqsicreatebroker command and trying to create broker with the -d defined option so that it will be run as MQ serivce.
Below was the command I fired from the console.
mqsicreatebroker BROKER3 -d defined -q QM1
In Queue Manager I can see the Service has been created as below :
display service(MQSI_BROKER3)
1 : display service(MQSI_BROKER3)
AMQ8629: Display service information details.
SERVICE(MQSI_BROKER3) CONTROL(QMGR)
SERVTYPE(COMMAND)
STARTCMD(C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\IIB\1000~1.5\server\bin\runMQService.bat)
STARTARG(C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\IIB\1000~1.5\server\bin BROKER3)
STOPCMD(C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\IIB\1000~1.5\server\bin\endMQService.bat)
STOPARG(C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\IIB\1000~1.5\server\bin BROKER3)
STDOUT(C:\PROGRA~3\IBM\MQSI\common\log\BROKER3.mqservice.log)
STDERR(C:\PROGRA~3\IBM\MQSI\common\log\BROKER3.mqservice.log)
DESCR( ) ALTDATE(2019-02-11)
ALTTIME(16.14.01)
I started the broker from console and checked the status. Can see the its not running.
C:\Program Files\IBM\IIB\10.0.0.5>mqsistart BROKER3
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
C:\Program Files\IBM\IIB\10.0.0.5>mqsilist
BIP1325I: Integration node 'BROKER1' with administration URI 'http://MANGESH-PC:4415' is running.
BIP1298I: Integration node 'BROKER3' is stopped. It will be started as a WebSphere MQ service by queue manager 'QM1'.
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
TO further analyze the problem I have checked the log file STDERR(C:\PROGRA~3\IBM\MQSI\common\log\BROKER3.mqservice.log) where I can see entry :
MQSI 10.0.0.5
C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\IIB\1000~1.5\server
BIP8232E: The operation cannot be performed for multi-instance integration node BROKER3, or an instance of that integration node, because of directory permission settings for the shared workpath .
The integration node instance needs to reference the shared workpath, but the directory permissions do not allow this action.
Use a different -e value, or consult your system administrator for possible causes of this error.
The error suggest something is not meeting with the muti-instance broker requirement.
But as I have not mentioned any multi-instance related attribute while creating the integration node. Not sure why this error is reoccurring.
Not able to see any proper advise on the google or knowledge center, Hence positing here.
Any suggestions ? Am I missing something ? |
