Hi All,
I noticed that when I am declaring a Shared Variable in my ESQL, buiding a bar file gives an error as below:
"ESQL files referenced from the message flows (.msgflow) cannot be added to the BAR when the "Compile and in-line resources" build option is selected in the BAR editor.".
Does this means that when I am using a shared variable, I cannot use "Compile and in-line resources"?
When I move my shared variable declaration inside the module, the bar file is created successfully..
This is a bit confusing. Can anyone explain whats happening internally?
Thanks |

Hi...if you are using 'Applications' have you tried the default 'Deploy As Source' option? The old way of working 'Integration Projects'/'Compile in-line' should also work |

No, it does not mean that.
Please provide more information. Which version of toolkit (including any fixpacks)? Is the message flow part of an Application, Shared Library, Static, Library, Message Broker project, or something else? Does it contain subflows as msgflow files or as subflow files? What else is in the barfile, and how are any other relevant barfile properties set? Can you post a small, bare-bones version of message flow that reproduces the problem? |
