Hello,
The use case is quit simple, we are sending a http request with basic authentication. We added the credentials in the Output.Properties.Identity fields. We ensured the bar file to use default propagation.
However when we sent the request to a mock server we could see that the Authorization field is not generated. Our workaround is to create the Authorization field manually works fine. But isn't identity propagation supposed to work out of the box?
We are using IIB 10.0.0.7.
Thanks

Note, we don't want to create a security profile. |

Yes

You don't need to create one, just apply the supplied default one.
It does work out of the box, but not if you leave it in the box. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

We have applied the default one when deploying the bar file. The Authorization field is still not generated. |

Either you're doing something wrong, or you've found a bug in the product. It doesn't sound wrong (from what you've posted) and I've not personally tried it on that level of IIB _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

We'll investigate further, otherwise we'll have to open a PMR. |
