Ive seen where it is possible for you to work with queues by building a web based appilcation with javascript or vbscript but can you also incorporate PCF commands for reseting channels, clearing queues, deleting queues etc.
thanks alot. |

You can use the MQAI interface if you want to write the code in C or VB. You probably should take a look at SupportPac MS0B. This gives you a java interface to PCF that is better suited for javascript or jsp pages.
A PCF application is just another request/reply application. The MAQI or MS0B just helps you format the request and interpret the reply.

I went and looked at the msob (pcf for Java) ..but can I use this in a webpage with javascript, i only want to use client scripting, the workstations have MQ 5.3 server on them. How would I reference these clases from javarcript in a web page? I only see the ActiveX object MQAX200.MQSESSION.dll and Im able to put and get messages to and from the queue but what about admin stuff? Doesnt seem like the msob is made for web javascript interfaces. thanks for your reply. |
