Dear All,
I'm developping a MQ client using the .NET classes. Currently, I have issues the auto-reconnect feature of MQ.
My environments are an active-stanby on AIX and another on Windows. I use 8.0.0.6 MQ version on both environments.
When I run the IBM Sample SimpleClientAutoReconnectPut with a QM on Windows, the sample runs as expected, the put wait until the standby QM is up.
But when the QM is on AIX, the put raises an exception 2009. On AIX, the failover is done using the command endmqm -is %QM%
What could be the issue on AIX? How to investiguate it? is there some specific configuration on AIX box to enable auto reconnect?
How reconnection works in detail? are there some signals between the QM and the client to initiate the reconnection that could be lost in my case?
Thanks for your help.
BR

Hi Remy,
I believe you need to run the stop qmgr with options isr:
If memory serves well the r option is to prompt a reconnect from reconnectable clients. (immediate, switch, reconnect)
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi,
I tried your suggestion, and I got the same result exception 2009.
Normaly from the doc, -s should also signal to clients to handle reconnection,
Thanks for help
