The latest MQ V9 client does not appear to contain any MQFT support.
How does one create an agent on a client machine?

YOu may want to check what you have and as you have not said what platform but here is a breakdown of what is in the version and can be interracted with to show versions of os etc

Client and MFT are two separate components of MQ.
Check what you have installed.
The Client has no license cost.
MFT requires payment for a license.
