| Reading the V701 AMS manual, it talks about AMS plug in (GUI) on the MQ explorer and how to enable it. I have MQ V8 and AMS is build in. But I do seem to find the AMS plug in in my MQ V8 Explorer. Any one has any pointer on how I can get it enabled on my Explorer. |

In your reading, did the plug-in have a name? Have you searched for it by name?

I have not use it before because I have V8 and no earlier version to try.
The info center says
"Enabling the WebSphere MQ AMS plugin for the WebSphere MQ Explorer 7.1
IBM® WebSphere® MQ Advanced Message Security plugin for WebSphere MQ Explorer version 7.0 is enabled automatically during the installation. "
That how I found out about it. But I have trouble finding where it is (or is it still available) on my V8 MQ explorer. |

| Found it. I was expecting to see AMS related info when right click on a Q name and I did not see anything. But there is actually a new node call 'security policy' which I can create and display policies. I'll explore more to see what other task I can perform with it. |
