Hi experts,
I installed ms0p support pack to my MQExplorer 8, and trying connect(in Administered Servers section) to Windows Server 2012 R2 but I have a problem: "Cannot establish session with server localhost using/SMB/TCP"
Who is faced with this problem and how to solve it? |

Where do you see this error? On the Explorer? Somewhere else? Have you looked in the error logs? Is there an MQ message id, like AMQ2345?
Have you connected the Explorer successfully to any other qmgr before?
Have you searched here or google for that error? What have you found?
Explorer 8? Do you mean IMQ v8? Have you made the necessary security changes to IMQ? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I see this error when tried connection to localhost in MQ Explorer with installed ms0p support pack
I do not found any similar problem in google.
This problem occurs only for Windows 2012, for Windows 2008 - connection is successfully. |

Odd, I found several exact matches on google when I searched for 'Cannot establish session with server localhost using/SMB/TCP'. Try again.
Again, I ask you what version of IBM MQ? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Did you create appropriate CHLAUTH rules to allow access? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

In this server I disabled all CHLAUTH. I think this support pack didn't work on Windows 2012. |

And what about CONNAUTH? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
