Hi All,
We have MQ 7019 and MB 8002 running on the server.
Recently,We have installed fixpack 8.0.0.4 for Message Broker. After installing fixpack, we are facing the below issue.
Could not load program mqsichangebroker:
Symbol resolution failed for /opt/IBM/mqsi/8.0.0.4/xml4c/lib/libxml4c58.5.a because:
Symbol XML4CMessages5_8_5_dat (number 113) is not exported from dependent
module /opt/IBM/wsdtx/libs/libXML4CMessages58.a[libXML4CMessages.so].
System error: Error 0
Examine .loader section symbols with the 'dump -Tv' command.
Kindly , help me to resolve the issue. I am trying to understand , why broker is looking for WTX libraries.
Thanks in advance!! |

It would only be looking for WTX libraries if you have installed WTX on that machine, or allowed a developer to deploy a flow with a WTX node.
If you have installed WTX, then you should uninstall it and then re-install it and then apply any necessary FPs to make it work with 8.0.0.4.
And make a note to always install WTX again after installing MB Fps. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

Thanks for the reply mqjeff.
Yes, we have WTX installed and running on the server.
Is there a way to make broker work with uninstalling and re-installing WTX? |
