Folks,
Does anyone know where I can get detailed information on Workflow Concepts/Architecture. I am more interested with Architecture part of it, and the types of setup, 1-tier, 2-tier etc..
I have looked at the
- Production workflow (Concepts and Techniques) book
- Concepts and Architecture (in the documentation)
These are okay, but they don't really discuss various scenarios as far as the tier's are concerned. The books does a good job of explaining the different setups though, but not many examples again...
Are there any other pulications, books, links that you are aware of?

Praveen:
Did you look at:
"MQSeries Workflow - Considerations for production roll out" Version 1.0 written by Wolfgang Kulhanek
I downloaded it from
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/wd02.html
This has a really good description of the different types of architecture you might use in a production environment.
Another of my favorites is the Redbook "Advanced Workflow Systems using FlowMark" by D. Shute and M. Hoffmann.
Although this is a FlowMark book, many of the techniques it presents are still valid.
Also the Text "Production Workflow" by F. Leyman and D. Roller is an excellent source for workflow theory. The danger of this book is that it uses MQWorkflow for its illustrations, and you can not believe that everything they talk about exists in the Current MQSeries Workflow. The authors are two of the original developlers of FlowMark (now MQSeries Workflow) and what we see in this book is where they would like the product to go, not necessarily where it is now.

John:
Actually I hadn't seen this one before. From the looks of it however, it looks pretty good.
Do you think I can also find such information in any of the red books? If so any recommendations?
Thanks,Praveen _________________ Praveen K. Chhangani,

The only other redbook I am aware of is the one for Implementing workflow on NT, don't remember the exact name, but it has definitely mentioned in this forum in the past.
Please let me know if you find anything else of interest. _________________ John McDonald
