Hello,
I am just starting to learn on the MQ and JMS. I have a situation where I need to pass an object file (similar to PDF or ZIP) via MQ and receive at AIX with no changes to EBCDIC format. However even with MQFMT as NONE, the file is converted when it reaches AIX box with converted format.
- Any inputs or suggestions to preserve this format.
- Should I be looking for parameters to JMS or should I be going after properties in MQ header |

Or the consuming app asks for conversion with MQGMO_CONVERT on mqget call (or equivalent).

Verify that the queued msg is actually MQFMT_NONE. It would only be converted by a MQ channel (with CONVERT=YES) or the consuming app (Get Options = CONVERT) if it is MQFMT_STRING.

How did you create the message? Is it a JMS message?
