Hi
I am using MQ5.2 and WebSphereMQIntegrator2.1 for my application development. OS : AIX.
Still now i am not applied any CSD levels to my application.
So can any one give some more details about CSD levels.
is it realy i need this updation??
mqver details:
MQSeries Version: 520
CMVC level: p000-L001106
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

CSDs are fixes to the product that have taken place since the first release of the product. As customers tend to use the product more and more, loopholes keep propping up. And these are henceforth fixed. When there are quite a bunch of them, all of them are packaged in the form of a CSD.
So, to answer your question. Yes, its always a good idea to be uptodate with the latest level of your product.
As for whats the latest release/csd level for aix. I am not so sure.... You might want to check on the IBM web site. CSD's are freely downloadable from the IBM website.
