Hi,
How one can verify that What all fixes are applied already or have come along with product version? (on Windows 32-bit)
For example, if I've Message Broker v8.0.0.4 installed, then I need to verify what all fixes does it have (though it is logical that all the fixes from previous versions i.e. v8.0.0.3 or 8.0.0.2 will be available in v8.0.0.4) ?
IC89507: MAPPING NODE DROPS XSI:NIL ATTRIBUTES this URL talks about the fix, that's available in 8.0.0.2. Whereas similar fix in an another IBM URL APAR IC95885 XSI:NIL="TRUE" lost in mapping element with text content says that its available in 8.0.0.3.
So, in this case where information is scattered, I wanted to verify (on Windows) if these (or any one of them) fixes are available in v8.0.0.4 Broker. But How?

Thanks for sharing this.
Though "mqsiservice -v" will share the limited information about the product and it's fix level (not the fixes details).
[ I understand that if I have v8.0.0.4 then by default the fixes of previous versions will come along and be already applied to the product, verification of those is not a major ask but it could be for product developers. ]

The FixPack release notes are available on the IBM Site. This lists all the APARS for that and previous releases.
That is the document you want. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

Yea, I've checked them in the IBM Site and the list of applied APARs. By the way.. it wasn't really about the IBM document ..
