AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(B) CHLTYPE(CLUSSDR)
CONNAME(192.168.44.132(1415)) CURRENT
CURSEQNO(36) LSTSEQNO(33)
RQMNAME(B) STATUS(RUNNING)
SUBSTATE(MQGET) XMITQ(SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE)
Whats does this mean?
current seq no. is 36 and last seq no. is 33 so it should be 34 so why 36?
also if it is 36 then inbetween there is difference of 3 so what can i interpret from this no. 3?
i think it is lenght? not sure pls cclarigy in brief this no.s |

you cannot interpret anything from this information.
First you did not specify if the channel was running or in-doubt...
Second you can only expect a static value from a stopped channel.
Third sequence mismatch errors are written to the qmgr's error log.

Are messages flowing across the channel?
Are there any errors in the error logs?
Do the values change when you reissue the display command? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

The Last Sequence Number is the sequence number of the last message in the last committed batch.
The Current Sequence Number is the sequence number of the last message in the open batch of message.
Looks like you have 3 messages sent and waiting for the channel to commit its batch. _________________ Peter Potkay

Which lead me to ask if this was a one-time display.
What are the batchsize and batchinterval values? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
