We having MQ server 7 and we have installed on C\IBM\WebSphere MQ but user change folder name to C:\ibm\websphere mq.After windows server update and restart the system it not able to show MQ queue manager in MQ explorer.

Kindly help me out.Thanks in advance.

How did a 'user' get admin rights to change a file-system name?

File-system names in Windows are not case-sensitive.

Any errors? Does MQ Explorer start?

Other than one qmgr that doesn't appear in the MQ Explorer Navigator pane, does the MQ Explorer do anything else?

Hi Bruce,

No ,there is no any error I get starting time of MQ explorer.If I create Queue Manager from MQ explorer then it created but not show Queue Manager in MQ explorer.

Hi Bruce,

No ,there is no any error I get starting time of MQ explorer.If I create Queue Manager from MQ explorer then it created but not show Queue Manager in MQ explorer.

It's probably a rights issue. The user rights either under program data\ibm\websphere mq or under program files (x86)\ibm\websphere mq have been changed due to the rename. Especially check rights for mqs.ini and compare them to the latest version. Also make sure that the path/classpath for the directory change did not take a hit. That too might prevent you from seeing any local qmgr.
