I am putting an invalid message(missing element) through an input note. The message domain specified in the input note is MRM.
The trace shows an exception:
Exception whilst parsing , XML Parser: Unexpected data found before start of message content catalog="WMQIv210" number="5406".
And the message is discarded. Shouldn't the message be propagated to the failure node connected to the input node? I would like to process the rejected message.

It depends how you have connected your nodes. Where is your message going currently? Is it going to DLQ?
Please tell us more about your MQInput nodes settings, like Transaction mode and the nodes connected to the catch/failure terminals.

I can now see the message in the queue specified in the failure node:
the message got discarded because it is not persistent.
