I am seeing a strange error as below in my logs whenever I restart my EG.
"(MBQHUB01.XG_SVOC)[7]BIP7156W: This execution group has failed to establish a connection to the broker global cache. The attempt to connect to the remote server components has now been running for '34' seconds. The connection is being made using the connection string 'mbqhub01.centre1.uk.boots.com:2809'. : MBQHUB01.b32d9443-4701-0000-0080-ab53ac3a5d91: /build/slot1/S800_P/src/DataFlowEngine/NativeTrace/ImbNativeTrace.cpp: 793: startConnection: :"
=======================================
From the error,it looks like my EG is trying to connect to GlobalCache.
But as per the below properties,my EG is setup as FALSE for CatalogService and ContainerService.
Not sure why the EG is reporting globalCache Connection errors.Kindly let me know your thoughts ..

Your execution group is set up with both enableCatalogService and enableContainerService as false, which means that it will not host any Global Cache server components.
However, you have specified the address for a Global Cache catalog server (mbqhub01.centre1.uk.boots.com:2809). This will cause the execution group to attempt a client connection to this catalog server at startup. This catalog server is not available, not reachable, or is still starting up, which causes the BIP7156W warning message.
You will get continue to get BIP7156W messages until the catalog server is available, or you remove the catalog server from the execution group configuration. |
