Hello Everyone

Is it possible that I have DR and DC servers of WMB 8 running between DR and DC. I have 3 queue managers one for the broker the rest for the applications that I host

I read the following in the http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=65471&sid=65ea77915467b04a22563e9f551bffcd

a) We cannot have 2 instances of the same queue manager in a network (considered as a bad practice) .

b) Considering this I defined the broker on a different QM , But then other connected applications (duh!) do not have any logic to change the queue managers when connecting between DC and DR

so the question is how do I make it active - active with duplicate names

If you want active / active you need a load balancing cluster (MQ).
If you want active / passive you need an HA solutions (or Multi-instance).
