Hi,
I am new to this MQ technology. Our application mq client is getting upgraded from 6.0 to 7.5. As per security rules we need to pass userd id and password using SSL.
Can some provide me code how to implement this.
Our current client application is built in VB6 and want to set up this new changes in this language only.
As per current set up we are not passing any user id and password to connect to MQ .We are using CMQB helper file and MQCONN for making connection. |

Did you read this: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv7/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.mq.csqzal.doc%2Ffg11890_.htm which states

... support for Visual Basic (VB) in WebSphere MQ has been stabilized at the V6.0 level. Most new function added to WebSphere MQ 7.0 or later is not available to VB applications. If you are programming in VB.NET, use the WebSphere MQ .NET classes. For more information, see WebSphere MQ Using .NET. |

I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but VB6 went out of support in 2005. Even assuming extended support, this application has been a zombie for 6 years.
As part of your migration from the Out Of Support MQv6.0 move to a VB that also lives in the modern world. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
