Hello Team,
We have installed the message broker 7.0 in virtual linux machine. After installing, we tried to verify the packages installed with the command rpm -qa|grep -i mqsi which did not show us the results. When we installed the same software in physical linux machine it is showing that the packages installed. The observation is that, the both linux machines are same at configuration level. Would you be able to help us in this?
Thanks,
Reddy. |

From memory the Broker installation does update the RPM db under the covers so yes, the validation command should work.
This may have changed in later versions as I haven't installed later versions of broker on Linux. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Hi All,
We have installed the brokers and the operations are working fine. But the only thing is, we are not able to see the packages installed to cross verification. Let me know if we need more description on this.
Thanks,
Reddy. |
