Hi ,
I want to know how to configure MQSeries Workflow with Oracle as the database.
Right now the Runtime Client is configured with DB2.
I would like to know the entire configuration procedure, and whether
I can reconfigure the existing setup as such.
Would also like to know if both the Buildtime and Runtime Clients can be configured with Oracle .
The environment is an NT Setup.
Regards

Hello,
Part of your answer :
On Windows, the Buildtime database can be MS Access or DB2.
The Buildtime database can also be DB2 on a remote UNIX machine But not .. Oracle.
Hope this help. |

The install guide explains how to do this on UNIX. There is some preparation of the Oracle environment involved, environment variables, etc.
On windows, Buildtime must be either DB2 or Access. For runtime, there is a highly unsupported procedure of configuring on Oracle instead of DB2, which does not involve the standard installer.-you'll have to contact the lab for that...
