What is a Suspension Check interval?

I dont find it in the buildtime.

I did the Scheduling Server 'Info' using the administration Utility 'fmcibie' and I see the following:

Check Interval PTXXH
Start Mode Immediate
Notification Check Interval PTXXH
Suspension Check Interval PT1H
Create Notification item Threshold 10
Delete Notification item Threshold 100

What does Suspension Check Interval do and is it configurable?

As jmac said, The "Notification Check interval" is the "suspension check interval" (just 2 names for the same thing).

You cannot change the "Notification Check interval" from the administartion utility "fmcautil".

You must use the BuildTime for that :
In the network tab, go to the Domain property, then go to the server tab and choose the scheduling server.
Then change the "notification check interval" to the value you would like.

Note that there is a second time interval in the scheduling server which is named "check interval" which is different from the "notification check interval".

PS : when you wrote "fmcibie", I think you meant "fmcautil".

Hope this help.

Hi Fbaril,

yeah, I meant fmcautil.

I know what is a notification check interval and how to configure it. And when John said they are the same, I thought they were. But as I described in the scheduling server info of the administration utility, you can clearly see that they are not the same. Suspension Check interval is defaulted to 'PT1H' and you cant change.

If it is the same as you said, why do we have it there?

Fabril/Laze:

Re: the Suspension check interval that is shown in fmcautil. From the
Hoss(es) mouth so to speak

Hi,

this setting was originally designed but never used. The admin client should not expose it. We will change this in the next release.
