Hi
Is it possible to Parse or Validate a incoming message(e.g. SOAP) dynamically without using a message set?
If i use a message set everytime i add a new service or make changes to the wsdl i have to build the message set and the message flows referring to it and deploy.
If it is possible to parse dynamically without using a message set by just giving the reference to the wsdl file i can deploy the message flow alone.
I do know the advantages of using a message set but if am ready to take up the burden including the performance is it technically possible?

You can always parse XML without a message set. Just set the domain to 'XMLNSC' or 'SOAP' and set validation to 'None'. If you do this, you will not be warned if the incoming XML does not match the xsd. That may be OK if the flow is just a gateway for other, more strict, applications.
If using SOAP, you can use the 'Gateway' mode on the SOAPInput node : http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v8r0m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/bc19040_.htm _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too. |

You can't pass a reference to an external file and use that as a message set.

If you have a WSDL (which you must if you were going to provide a reference to it) then the "burden" of creating a message set from it is about 3 mouse clicks; the Toolkit does it automatically for you. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
