WMB V8.0.0.2 /WMQ 7.5 on AIX

All our flows are using Data Direct V6 ODBC drivers to connect to Oracle. However a new flow requires connection to a Oracle Adv Security database and only Data Direct V7 ODBC drivers work on that database. Also note that we do not have any XA requirements for our flows fortunately.

As of now ,on our DEV brokers we configured both V7 and V6 Data Direct Drivers and all the flows including the new ones seem to work fine.

Ideally , I would like to use 1 version of Data Direct drivers but cannot change configuration for all the existing flows in production which use V6 drivers.

Any thoughts on using both V6 and V7 drivers on the same broker ?

What are the advantages of the DD V1 Drivers over the ones that you are already using?
Why do you want to change?

I thought the reason was clear in my original question. The V6 DD driver does not seem to work with Oralce db implementing Adv Security ("Unexpected Network Error"). However the V7 DD seems to work fine.

Anyways , have raised a PMR.
