Hello,
I could'nt find any information about it neither in the Information Center, nor in a past posts here, so -
Is there a way to access shared directory (NFS)
with FileInput node on WMB v7 ( on AIX),
or I must use FTP to access this directory?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, it's for Windows, not Unix.

sorry didn't notice that. AFAIK, if NFS share setup is done in AIX then it will be like accessing the local directory from broker.

Hi Frik and Simbu,

The file nodes will see a network mounted file as a local file, so you can go ahead and use them. Shared files on Windows are pretty much the same as network mounted UNIX file systems for all intents and purposes.

It's also worth being aware of the mqsitransit feature (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v9r0m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/ac55400_.htm) for when you're processing files in shared spaces, as it may be very helpful.

Thanks, Anthony.
