We are using WMB 8 to access endpoint information in WSRR using the Registry Lookup node. We are using the Registry Lookup node rather than the Endpoint Lookup node because Endpoint Lookup node does not support WSDL with MQ endpoints unless you enter them as Manual Service Endpoints which seems redundant and error-prone if you already have a WSDL with the endpoint information. To maximize performance, we are using the built-in WMB caching of WSRR objects. This all works great.
I assume (I have not been able to find documentation to the contrary) that WMB caches only what is returned via our Registry Lookup nodes and thus it would be in our best interest to only return the bare minimum of information from WSRR in order to keep the WMB cache as small as possible. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? If so, would it be wise then to NOT retrieve the actual WSDLs (which can be quite large) from WSRR? We anticipate having around 100 services in WSRR - is this too small a number to even worry about the size and performance of the cache?
