Hi All

My input looks like:

Part number Description
-------------- ---------------
123456789 Engine
234578901 Pipe
345687677 Bolt

i.e., after part number eg:123456789 there is tab separator then continues description here in this case Engine

Now i need to convert it to XML .

I have a doubt in creating message set for CSV i.e for Tab separator.
How do we define it for Tab separator.Is there any properties we need to set.
Please lemme know what are those propeties i need to set.

I'd say you need to use a tab character rather than a comma as a delimiter. Seriously. I don't see you'd need to change anything else.

You mean that i need to use tab i.e., instead of comma i just need to use Tab here right ?

Unless you feel that there's a structural difference between a stream of text with commas between the fields and a stream of text with tabs between the fields.

I feel compelled to point out that you could have found out if that's all you need to do by just trying it in a tenth of the time you've taken to post here and ask if that's all you need to do.

I also feel I should point out if you're on a DFDL-enabled version of WMB you shouldn't be using a message set for new development of message models.
