It seems that Java 1.6 has reached the end of its life. As IBM rolls its own JVM I expect that the core parts of Broker (for V7) are ok but I know many broker sites where other JVM's (mostly 1.6.x... ) are used as well.
It seems to me that Oracle could learn a thing or two from IBM here and actually publish the End-Of-Life/Support dates. If they do this then I haven't seen them anywhere on the mess (IMHO) that is the Oracle web site.
Will this decision come as a surprise to Broker Admins? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
